2 questions. How much does a personal helicopter cost? And how much does a private jet cost?

A business jet can run anywhere from just under a million used to, well there really is no top end. Some people actually use airliners for ‘business” jets and will deck them out like a house with hot tubs and bedrooms, kitchen dining room etc., That could go up to 300 million easy.

On the smaller end Eclipse has introduced a 6 seat business jet that goes for about 1.4 million new. This has been considered to be a quantum leap downwards in the price of a small jet aircraft.

The next cheapest is Cessna’s Mustang at 3 million.

I think 5 to 50 million is average price people pay for a new biz jet.

I would say 3 to 10 million would be the average price range for a turbine helicopter.

I believe the question re private jets has already been answered. Personal helicopters can vary. Two of the lowest priced models (new, not used) are the Robinson R22 two seater and the Robinson R44 four seater. They sell for approximately $250,000 and $440,000 respectively. Both are piston powered decent little machines. The R22 is a popular trainer. Helicopter maintenance is very expensive regardless of model however. The maintenance records and component hours are extremely important to know when purchasing a used helicopter of any sort. Turbine powered helicopters are a lot more money but you get what you pay for. More lifting power, more speed, cabin amenities, etc. and their prices can easily run over $1M.

There are a few personal jets now that can be bought for just
under a million. For the most part, though, “jet” and “million”
are words that are commonly used together.
While Bill Gates can certainly afford his own jet, I had heard
that he flies commercially (first class probably.) I hadn’t heard
about the helicopter, though. Where’s Robin Leach when
you need him?

so you have to read the other answers. I worked for gulfstream adn we help others sell there airplaens.
A small helicptor will cost $20000 and a luxurly one will cot used $75000 up to $500000 and a new will double that. ok you can buy a nice small pvt jet for as low as $500000 like a small lear. new around $1000000, The large pvt jets like a gulfstream will cost $10000000 up to $40000000 like MArk Cubins Jet a gulfstream 5. New the large one will cost $30000000 up to $50000000. Hope that helps you. Have a nice day.
