I just have to wonder about Brad Pitts commitment to “saving the environment” through “Global Green”. I recently saw a segment on the Today show in which he was involved in a project, Global Green, down in the New Orleans area where homebuilders where building environmentally friendly homes. Yes that is a nobel cause however, how much of a friend can you be to the environment when you are constantly traveling on a private jet??
I realize it isn’t convenient to fly commercial for an A list celebrity but shouldn’t we expect a celebrity that puts his name behind such a movement to live a life consistent with that movement. Don’t those that truly feel a connection to a cause put up with inconveniences for the good of the cause? I feel that he wants to create an image of himself of an activist (afterall, he has to do something productive since Angelina is involved with the UN) but it seems so fake and so orchestrated….not genuine at all. Any thoughts?
