But isn’t it kind of galling to have a guy who only flys private jet (no first class commercial carrier for Al) tell you to ride a bike to work?
Couldnt he use the internet to spread his message? Isnt that what he invented it for?
he’s got a full sized cadillac and a giant house too
Sunglasses
Absolutely!! He is so full of $hit! He contradicts himself all the time. He is only after numbers and sales.
Not an Al Gore fan. But yes, that does seem a wee bit hypocritical.
No, not when you have a very important message to spread to as many people as possible, in as shortest time as possible.
Al Gore is the original smokescreen artist, just now everything he said is coming to be, hummmm
Oh yeah - all these people out there b!t(hing and griping about the ozone and global warming and such are hypocrites!
There are actually people, who barely have 2 nickles, who cultivate their own fruits and vegetables in they yards, ride bikes, walk or ride a horse, who live of what they need not what they want and do a damn good job of it who don’t so much as have an eyelash batted their way. Then you have Al Gore who flies, drives and uses what’s given to him (not what he’s produced himself in hard sweat and soil) that spread nonsense and hype over something that the our planet has been doing for billions of years!
A few years ago I was on a commercial flight from D.C. to New York City. Al Gore was a passenger - in coach.
Gore is no more of a hypocrite than the guy who thinks he’s an environmentalist because he doesn’t completely fill up the gas tank in his SUV.
Gore’s home and plane are both energy-efficient. While Gore certainly enjoys a better standard of living than most of us, I believe he does his part and tries to ‘practice what he preaches’. It’s been my experience that those who criticize Gore are the same people who refuse to REuse, REduce or REcycle; who drive gas-guzzling SUVs and Hummers; who do absolutely nothing to protect or preserve our environment. They are the gluttonous ‘wasters’ of our world, bound and determined not to allow such trivial matters as global warming and the environment keep them from their gluttonous lifestyles.
