i do find it interesting that john kerry was pretty much lambasted as an elitist for being married to theresa heinz. but none of that same criticism is leveled towards john mccain for also being married to a very rich woman.

Not sure how $$ successful WeatherVane McCain was prior to dumping his first wife but his Beer heiress (budweiser) wife financed his senatorial campaign w/the goal of getting him in the WH.
