m1D40chick asked:

I don’t enjoy the sensations felt during flight on regular airline planes, and the thought of flying on a much smaller private business jet scares the cr*p out of me. The reason i ask is that i must fly on a jet next week. I think the flight is 4 hrs +. It’s a long time and no pit stops. So how is the ride, is it a quicker flight, more turbulance, what about take off. if you can answer any of those questions and more i’d greatly appreciate it since i can’t find much of what i’m looking for online.
thanks

the sensation of speed will be greatly noticed and you will love it, make sure you look out the window on takeoff

A jet liner is a jet liner and they work the same way. You still feel the little expansion joints as you thump down the runway toward take off. You are still subject to the same turbulance. The biggest difference is you are not cramped into a little set with 100’s of other noisy, smelly people around you. Kick back and enjoy the flight. Airflight is still one of the safest ways to travel. Statistically 550% safer than making the trip by car.

The only small jet I have flown on was an 8 passenger Leer.

It was great no waiting in line the pilot did a walk around with those who wanted to . The seating was not cramped but certainly not spacious. The take off was great we climbed quickly to our cruising altitude. The trip was great both ways I flew to Michigan to a Tractor dealership.

I LOVE flying private jets!! In fact, I declined employment as a private jet pilot a couple of times because those particular jobs would also have required me to travel as an airline passenger. To compare private jets to limos and airliners to buses would be pretty accurate. In fact, I have a strong distaste for airline travel.
I prefer newer private jets. Enjoy!!

Private jets are very Comfertable comparing the commercial airliners. Some times it could get scary. As the other people said, you can def. feel the speed in private jets. Sometimes it would seem like you are driving a Lamborghini. It’s fun though, if you get a chance, ride in one.

Happy Flying!!!

typically flying in a private jet is a lot nicer than flying in a big jet. 1) No security to hassle with. 2) on take off you will feel the rush of the plane more when you first take off because the runways are typically shorter. 3) in flight you usually have a lot less turbulence due to the fact that they have more liberties regarding avoiding bumpy air so they will usually go around it.

Overall, I would much rather fly in a small private jet than commercial because the experience is so much better.
