1. You take a large cage, where the cat has a small litterbox in it.
2. You take the cat out of his carrier when he needs to *** and put him in the litterbox. I always do that when we travel by car or by ferry. He meows to let me know when he needs to get out and use the litterbox.

We have a small plane (not a jet) and take our cats on trips all the time. When they need to go they let us know, and we pour a small bit of litter in their litter pan. After they’re done we bag the used litter…in case of turbulance you don’t want used cat litter flying everywhere.
Generally if you’re flying with pets you should give them a tranquilizer anyway, as some pets get very scared. In those cases, they usually don’t need to go (during a relatively short trip) because they are sleeping. For a longer trip, the above applies.

Your cat should be able to hold it for up to 20 hours or so. although i do not recommend it! it may cause a uti, and no one wants that for themselves or their pets! bring a bag, put it in a litter box (empty) put the litter in, and before you get off the jet dispose of it! easy!?
