She lied during her speech. She put it on e-bay but never sold it there. The state ended up hiring a private dealer who sold the plane for $2.1 miilion. The plane cost the state $2.7 million. So Palin’s cute little e-bay story cost the state of Alaska $600,000 plus the dealers fee.
