Flag on plane: was on there during his overseas visit, then replaced by obama campaign seal upon return. this is because when flying internationally, vessels are expected to identify themselves clearly with a national marker. however, at home, everybody knows he’s American. Early on, he did not place his hand over his heart during the playing of the National Anthem and he refused to wear the US Flag lapel pin. Extreme political pressure has now caused him to do both. When Obama became the presumptive Democratic nominee, his campaign knew he would need the use of a plane (as has been done by every Presidential candidate) so he took the plane he had been using which was the property of North American airlines and bore their COPYRIGHTED logo of stylized American flags and had them replaced with the emblem of his campaign since he COULD NOT LEGALLY USE THE COPYRIGHTED LOGO of North American on his campaign’s now-private property.
